water dripping/leaking down from inside near driver and pass. feet area....
Don't know what the problem is, but everytime I have the a/c on for awhile...there will be water sounds coming from the center consol...like splashing, everytime I come to a stop or make a turn. Also, when I do make a right or left turn, I'll get water leaking/dripping down onto my foot or the pass. foot.
The carpet inside my car all the way to the foot rest of the pass. seat is soaked with water and are damped. Don't know what the cause is...heater core? If so, how do I go about tackleing it?

it can be the water condensation trapped inside the evap cooler. There is a drain line that lets it out from under the car. Maybe there is a blockage and it caused it to stay inside the cabin which is causing it to flow onto your carpet.
I just had this exact same thing happen on my DC, thought it was the heater core but checked the fluid and found it was just stale water so I knew it wasn't antifreeze. Get under the car and over on the pass side just behind the front wheel you will see a small rubber hose hanging down, this is your evaporator drain and its likely stopped up. I just blew in mine with some compressed air and it began draining for about 20 mins!!! it must have been full!

Heater Core only has coolant flowing thru it. If you have antifreeze in your cabin then there is a 95% chance its your broken heater core leaking.
If its not raining and your AC is on and you have water dripping on your passengers foot, then your AC drain plug is blocked with mold and mildew. More than likely it is leaking around the edges of your blower motor. You can remove the 4 screws and remove your blower motor to verify your leak location and have better access from the inside of the drip pan or get underneath the car and find that rubber hose that hangs and blow some air up there, or use a pipe cleaner (fuzzy arts and craft thingy many diff colors). If you remove the blower motor you might find alot of mildew that can be cleaned by hand with windex and paper towels, then you can use a wire hanger and roto rooter your drain tube from the inside!
Just wondering, do you have a hairy pet or did the previous owner have a pet that rode in the car? It may be clogged from animal hair being sucked up from the AC intake. We dont have cabin AC air filters like some of the newer nicer cars.

thanks guys, I'll be checking that drainage hose. The water's clear, so that should rule out coolent. Also, would the blower motor be on the pass. side behind the glove compartment just like the civic?
Yes. The motor is behind the glove box, your passenger can kick it. I had a water leak on that side thinking rain water was coming in thru the fresh air vent and dripping thru my blower motor. I figured I could seal up the seam between the blower motor and drip box and it wouldnt leak anymore. Found out later I still had a leak from rain water and its not from the blower motor seam. But at least my motor is sealed and will never leak if my drain plug becomes clogged.
Remember you dont have to remove the blower motor. I would just try blowing air up the drain tube first and see how that works out. If its really clogged then drop the motor and Mr Clean that biss.
