where can i get my teg smogged?
just to let you all know my teg is modded and wont pass smog, so im looking for a smog testing place or if anyone knows someone who will pass my car even if it costs extra. let me know!
did you buy the car modded or did you do the upgrades yourself? If you did the upgrades yourself and was wise enough to keep the stock parts, i suggest putting it back to stock and smogging it. but if you bought the car modded already, I would look into buying a spare motor just for smog purposes. Its a hassle but it beats paying someone 250 every 2 years. And if you ever get pulled over and get ticketed for having smog violations, the second motor would really come in handy.

b16? just get the stock motor that belongs in the car, that way if you ever got into any trouble with smog issues with your other motor, you'll have the stock one to fall back on, come on.

did you not understand what I was trying to say? Since your motor is built, just purchase a stock motor, one that hasn't been built and one that belongs in your car, and just replace it whenever you need to smog.

Who said you needed a C1 to smog? You could put an 18B in there and be fine. In all honesty though, its gonna cost you $500 for the motor and then the labor to remove it every time. Its really only useful if you ever have to take it to the REF.
