Default 95 Civic OEM Style Fog Light Question

Hey, I was reading the OEM instructions on how to install the fog lights in my 95 civic, but theres one thing i want to do differently than what the instructions tell you to do.

I want to make my fog lights independent of my headlights (in the instructions the way they tell you to wire it results in you having to have your headlights on for the fogs to turn on and when your high beams are on they turn off). This is a problem for me since my HIDs are my high beams and i want my HIDs and fogs to turn on together (i can chnage my HIDs to low beam but i dont want to)

I want to be able to turn my fogs on and off whenever i want whether my lights are on or not.

Could someone tell me what i should do differently in order to achieve this?

WELL MY FOGLIGHT KIT WAS CONNECTED DIRECTLY TO THE BATTERY THEN TO THE LIGHTS THEN A GROUND AND WENT INTIDE TO MY SWITCH AND TO COMPLETE THE CIRCUIT I CONNECTED THEM TO MY CORNERS.... SO THEY TURN ON WITH MY CORNERS AND I CAN TURN ON MY HIGH BEAMS WHILE I GOT MY FOG LIGHTS ON...

Thats what i was thinking about doing, wiring them to the corners.

But then i got thinking and though that since the corners flash for the turn signals, would that not make the fog flash too?

NOT AT ALL ITS JUST TO COMPLETE THE CIRCUIT.. THE ONLY THE THING THOUGH U CANT TURN EM ON WITHOUT UR CORNERS ON.. I DONT MIND THOUGH MAKES IT LOOK MAD JDM WHEN I GOT MY CORNERS WITH MY FOGS ... IVE SEEN SUM SKYLINES THAT THEIR FOGS BLINK WIT THEIR CORNERS SO IT JUST DEPENDS ON U..

when i wired mine up they came on with just the running lights, i didnt need to have the headlights on at all. did you plug the brown plug under the dash in the #2 slot. but then again i have real oem honda fogs and not sue if they would differ in any way.
