Default Which Harness to buy for this Head Unit?

Greetings, I recently purchased A DEH-P5000UB Pioneer Head Unit.

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-H...=5684

It came with the only the faceplate. I need to know which harness to purchase for the back of this head unit. I was able to test it before purchasing it but they kept the harness.

I checked ebay but couldn't specially find one for this head unit.

Find a Pioneer dealer and ask the guys in the install bay if they have one, I have a box full from insurance claims, [crooks are dumb as a rock, steal a HU but leave the harness] 94

Hell, call Crutchfield and tell them there wasn't one in there. I'd think they would send you another

go to an audio shop and take your stereo too and show them you need the harness for it. make sure you buy the other harness for the car then cross the wire color by color and there you should have it...

Sorrrrryy.

Didn't know he did not buy the head unit from there. One assumes that more than likely, if you show a head unit on a website, you may've bought it from there.

Check it yo: http://parts.pioneerelectronic...000UB

If the stock radio plug is still in the car you can get a "smart" harness, something like this... http://www.scosche.com/product...D/656
it will save you from having to make any connections, [plug and play] 94

http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/HA-Wiring.pdf kind of pointless to connect a stock plug to cut wires so you can get a harness adapter to connect to the the Pioneer harness, your adding a lot of connections, just get the Pioneer harness and hard-wire it the the stock radio harness, cleaner/neater and takes up less room. 94

the harness is not that expensive probably less than 20 bucks... they just go by colors you will see the matches. go to kragen or any auto parts and buy butt connectors they are 16-14 gauge they are only 3.50 for a 21 pak. just pass the wires through the wholes and tighten them. make sure you match it to the right colors.
