Lookin for help installing new seats in 89 CRX
other than CRX seats which are impossible to find in decent condition, what would be an easy swap into the CRX...dont need anything fancy, stock civic seats or something comfy would be nice as this is my daily driver....
I am trying to avoid having to fabricate or weld brackets to make it fit...
Will i be able to bolt my stock seat rails onto any other seat?
Thanks,
Adam

i had a perf condition passenger seat and found another 90-91 red pin stripe passenger seat in perf condition. i swaped that foam and fabric over to my car and it worked great. driver seats are usually the only crappy seats

of course, and thats the one thats bad in my car, typical because usually theres only 1 person in a crx....i dont wanna go the seat cover route...

I'm telling u dude, u wanna save lots of money and keep the stock look do what I did. Just find a matching passenger seat with no rips and with nice foam. Passenger seats are cheap too, cuz no one really cares about them
funny, i pushed the red search button in the top right, typed in crx seats and chose "arcived content" and returned 367 topics just in the ef forum....
if you still can't find an answer in all that, try what the posters above suggested. if you swap fabric and foam, foam if your drivers side foam is funked up, it will look good as new. i bought a set of seat from a guy to replace my fronts and he did that to the drivers side. you cant even tell, looks good as factory.
