Default jrsc type r supercharger on a b16 head?

I'm about to purchase a type r supercharger from someone...Just want to make sure it will fit onto my b16 head...He has all the brackets and so forth...what would i need to make this work? Its going on my LS/Vtec...Is there a forum where i can find out info about this...

I would say OK. I got an LS/V and I've considered supercharging and always thought the ITR JRSC kit would best suit the fitment of PR3/P73 head, and the boost requirements of a 1.8L-2.0L . You might want to try some other pulleys for + or - boost but I think your on the right track.

The only uncertainty I would' have is reguarding the port diameter of the ITR kits Intake runners vs. the B16 kit. It probably would'nt make a huge difference if they were slightly larger like the ITR manifold, but I'd post this question in the FI forum and see what they say. If anything call Jackson Racing and get there advice before buying.

The ITR and the B16 both use a PR3 head casting. Anything that fits on one will fit on the other.

The last time I looked at the JRSC's they were selling the exact same kit for both ITR and B16 applications.

This information has been beaten to death many times over. Please search next time.
