its looking like im going to have to go that route. i mean as long as i can get it bolted in i should be good. provided that the heater coil will mount in the 95 location with no problems. worst case is that i will have to shoehorn **** in. but when i get everything i will post a write up and let you all know how it goes. anyways, the 96 dash cant be that much longer than the 95 right? i mean a freaking teg dash will fit so it should be good.

If you're just doing this for the automatic climate control and not because you like the look of the '99 - '00 dash you could try to find a complete automatic climate control setup from a '92 - '95 JDM civic. You need everything, climate control, heater core, wiring etc. I saw the complete conversion on ebay once, i think it was buy it now for $200 if i remember correctly.

im interested in this as well, but my reason for it is cuz i like the newer civic dash and i want something different. i like the teg dash swap too, but its kinda, do i dare say, common place now...if my eg wasnt my daily driver, i'd try it on my own. but its kinda hard when i drive it every day. maybe when i get done building my integra in a few months i will try it.
