Is this true about new cluthes?
When I first got the car about 3 weeks ago the owner said the clutch was brand new and supposedly it bites still on 1st gear. When I take off on 1st gear it grabs a bit and the owner told me the clutch hasn't been breakin in yet. I put in 2,000 miles already ever since I got it.
dude you drove 2,000 miles in 3 weeks? thats the only thing i understood from your cluster-[freak] of words you called a question.

x2. thats a shitload of miles in only 3 weeks. that'd be 35k/year!

I do about 110-120 miles 5 days a week, and usually do another 100-150 during the weekend, so yeah, I can imagine driving 2k miles in 3 weeks very likely.

To answer your question. It depends on the clutch. Its good to seat it for the first 500 miles of street driving. Like i said it depends. Do you know what kind of clutch it is? Puck? disk?

Is the clutch pedal very stiff? If so, you more than likely have an aftermarket upper stage clutch. My uncle had a stage 3 ceramic unsprung clutch in his race civic and it was horrible on the street. When I tried to drive it you had to rev it above 3,000 to start off and chirp 1,2,3.

That's because he is. Do you want to know why? Because you're from socal. You know what that means? YOU DRIVE LONG DISTANCES TO GET PLACES. Now he probably thinks your an idiot. You want to know why he thinks you're an idiot? Because you say things an idiot would say. Get a clue
yeah i wanna day it'll depend on the clutch and how you get off of it. because my clutch is an exedy stage two and it's about a year old. if i let go too quick it'll jerk really hard still. so i dunno.

Nobody mentioned anything about what kind of person he was because of where he lived. The question was how he was capable of putting 35k miles on his car in one year; the answer being because he lived in socal where everyone has to drive long distances daily. An answer based off of common sense

You have had nothing but negative feedback, yet you've replied a few times. Don't attack people and accuse them of being stereotypical and expect everyone to be ok with it.
