Default JDM R heads

Does anyone know if Honda marked there heads from the factory?

This says "ho ho" in katakana

it is possible that the top character wasn't indented all the way, and maybe the D means something also?

True, but doesn't look much like 六 to me. It looks more like ホ that they didn't hit hard enough so the one stroke is missing. It looks more like a vertical line than a diagonal line.

I have never heard of or seen this before, i am 99% those are markings by others.
