I forgot to mention that I am willing to deliver the vehicle as long as vehicle is paid for prior to delivering, gas money is put up front (all receipts will be kept and any extra gas will need to be paid for, if gas was less then receipts a refund would be issued), and return plane ticket is purchased in advance.
Also depending on distance food money will need to be provided (I don't see it being over $30.
Vehicle would be driven the speed limit (which I usually go 65mph max) and would be insured the entire trip (my insurance).
Just food for thought. I would deliever on the weekend.

I've spent well over 4k to get this car to Minnesota and get it in the form its in right now. I have lots of receipts. I'm losing out on this deal.
This sale is for a true Crx lover that knows what I have done to this car is pretty damn time consuming and money consuming for that matter.
You must be on straight crack for offering $2k.
Thanks for looking though.

I've got $13 grand into my CRX and I would only ask $5k for it, The point of the matter is your car is 18 years old made by Honda with 311,xxx miles on it... not to mention the body is far from perfect. Needs a new fender right off the bat, a new climate control, trunk enclosure, it also has a stock suspension which is on it's way out guaranteed so... $2k sounds more than reasonable. I may have lowballed with the request of shipment - but $2k is all I can justify in offering. And that's only because I like white

You could spend $300 fly out to Cali HOPE the car is unmolested then HOPE it makes it home and still end up paying around 2k.
This car is for a True Crx enthusiast. Some one that likes it how it is or will do slightly more mods to it.
This car is worth well worth the asking amount considering time and money invested. This car has been well taken care of and will relentlessly make it to any place on this planet :D
I'm also interested in Geo Metros or Ford Festivas (in stock form) for trade plus cash.

1) There are probably 4 rust free crx's in MN. Supply>Demand
2) If you haven't noticed, crx's are going UP in price, so 18 years old is better than 25 at this point.
3) Even though I fly for free to rust free lands, it wouldn't be any cheaper to fly out and drive back a car that nice for 4K.
4) I hate the OP for even having this car when I don't have 4K to blow.

Except we all know you didn't spend 300 to fly out to cali to buy the [freak]ing car. Your profile says TX/MN... I can just imagine you going to CA while you were in texas, purchasing the car for 1-1,500 bux there, going back to TX, and then going to MN. This car is no way in hell worth even 4,000 dollars. You stored it for that long without even starting it. 311,000 miles.. lol.
Doing basic car maintenance DOES NOT increase it's resale value by 1 grand for a car that is 18 years old either.
Only reason crx's are giong up in price, is because it's not a 10-15,000 dollar hybrid.

Rust free CRX's hardly exist here in Illinois, never mind Minnesota. This is without even getting into trying to find a CRX that still has the A/C components on it (wish someone didn't hack mine out of my HF thinking it was a race car with 62 hp
).
If you guys don't like the price, go find a rust bucket to buy for $2,000 and enjoy driving it in the summer. He doesn't need your input.

Actually your right I didn't fly to California, I flew my brother. I was actually deployed at the time overseas. Came home drove the car for a short period before I went to Texas to register for school, then I went back to Minnesota and flew out to Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand.. for 2.5 months, in which my family started it a few times while I was gone to keep seals good, and battery alive.
Maybe that can help make the timetable a bit more understanding.
BTW it was a little over 300 to fly him out there, then you should also take in the account of providing my brother funds for gas, food, and lodging.
Its true Crxs are going up in price no matter the condition.
If you don't like the price, I don't mind you making a comment, all in all i believe a unmolested up to date stock Crx Hf is well worth this amount.
But then again I am a Crx lover. Its a hard decision to put this car up for sale, and if it doesn't sell I will be just as happy parking it for the winter, and as I stated, if i still have it more money will be invested in it for gas mileage purposes.
Insight rims, supermid and rebuilt motor are at the top of list to do.
Thanks for looking,
Shane

I'd much rather pay top dollar for this well maintained machine than ANY other crx I've EVER seen posted in the midwest forum.
What kind of mpg do you get with it?

I was getting 37mpg city and then I did the egr work, and fuel injection cleaing, and got up to 42mpg city. Best I've gotten so far was 49.92mpg that was mainly highway but it also had some city driving in on that tank.
I know the added parts haven't helped gas mileage but I was aiming for comfort, looks, and mileage.
Thanks,
Shane

Added a link to my fuel injection cleaning from Ravenworks.
I also corrected "passenger side clear coat peeling", it should actually have said "passenger side FENDER clear coat peeling".
thanks,
shane

PM me if you do. I'll send death threats to anyone bidding against me. Hopefully I'll spend a cool $500 on this whip.
