92 Teg Radio Prob
Well, heres my prob: on my teg, the only speakers that work are the ones on the drivers side, but if i hit a bump or go over railroad tracks, the passenger side speakers kick on, then they go off after a while. I think its a wiring prob, what do u guys think it is and can i fix it myself or how much for a shop to fix? Thanks, oh as a side note, my moms 91 teg has the same prob, cept all the speakers can go out.
It just probably a bad connection in there. I have Pioneer cd player that I've had for like 5 years. About a year about, the drivers' side front speaker cut out..I figured out that the connection was bad, and fixed it. You'd prolly be better off just going out and getting an aftermarket stereo for all the trouble of working on it.

well first connect everything to the new unit, and if that doesn't work. then you need to unscrew your speakers, and check the wiring on the back of them. If they are loose, you need just to simply, put the wire into the little bracket thingy on the back of the speaker. make sure you match the '+' and '-' as necesary. Also if that doesn't help, then you have bad wires period. which means, you need to completely remove the wires from the speaker which isn't working. then, reroute new wire (doesn't matter what color, just plain old wire) from the deck to the speaker, and match the + and - together. if ya have any more problems after that feel free to email me at shortysdohdoh@msn.com
