i have a 1996 lx and it is an automatic. i got it for 200 bucks and i want to preform a swap. but first i need to change it into a manual. if anyone knows anything about it give me some ideas please. thanks

If you are mechanically inclined and can do the work yourself you have a chance of doing it for under $800, otherwise probably not unless you have some friends that will work for beer. your best bet is to find someone junking another civic thats a 5 speed and get what you need off it, thats how i've done it both times i did this swap.
