Anybody daily their bike?
I do...it kinda sucks because I then no longer look forward to riding when I get home from work. I drive more than 25,000miles a year and do not want to put that many miles on the bmw already...so I ride my bike or the scooter as much as possible
i didnt have a car all summer because my sister needed it.
Was dailying the sv650 til july and started dailying the rc51 from the trade.
All things considered, it took a lot of the fun out of riding. Im getting the car back this next weekend so im probably going to take a short hiatus from riding until i actually WANT to ride my bike again lol

Im with you on that one. but I didn't lend my car out. My radiator took a dump on me and then ordered some other stuff that took so long to get. So I've been riding everyday my only transport.
Buuuuuuuuuuuuut Im working on the car right now so hopfully I'll have it done today and leave the bike alone for a month LoL

Yea after a while it seems like you are taking less joyrides out on the bike but still commuting with it is fun. Better gas mileage and what not I still do it as much as I can.

Yea pretty much. I got the car like 4 months ago and already put 8k on it just from commuting to work. And while I have a bike that gets 40mpg, and a scooter which gets 90 +mpg, i really do not have to drive the car when I dont need to.
My 1987 honda elite 150 scooter takes 1.5 gal of gas to fill up. My work is 24miles each way, or about 50 miles a day if I dont detour. On that one tank of gas I can go back and forth 3 times. So almost 150 miles on one tank of gas. Now that is pretty damn good while still being able to hit 65

as far as the summer goes i have been riding to campus like 3 miles each way everyday and on weekends i go home. 90 miles home, canyons on sat morning sometimes (but not recently because i oversaturated myself with riding) and 90 back to school.
Im done with school for quite some time start this friday so ill probably put the bike out of sight til im itching to ride again (which will realistically be like 2 days)
well see

awesome gas mileage on the scooter! And i'm in the same boat, i try not to put a million miles on my bmw, so i only drive it to work maybe once a week if that.

I've been thinking about getting another bike to commute on, since my 10 goes through tires like crazy and really doesnt get much better gas mileage then my bmw.
