alright heres the deal i got a gsr that when i turn on it idles around 700 rpm, but when i gas it the rpm doesnt move. and also happens sometimes when i drive it and the car just stops given gas or something to the engine. it would stop running but still idles. i dont know the problem hoping someone here would.

 

Not really sure what your saying. It stops running but still idles???? If it's idling, it's running.

does it break up when you give it gas, mine did the same thing, i wired up the motor and it was idling perfect, when givin gas it would break up and cut off....i had the MAP and the TPS backwards....could be a vaccum leak in the intake manifold....i've been told thats a common problem on these cars, but i could be wrong

 

my 92 gsr is doing the same thing, does your have power over 3k but under 3k it falls on its face unless you keep it in the gas? falling on its face meaning it dosent want to idle, by the way what motor does your car have in it, i have the B17A1, im trying to figure this out, any help would be appricated

 

mine did the same thing when i first wired it up...i had all kinds of **** backwards, i have a 99 b18c1 converted to OBD1...i had to stay on the gas to keep it running period until i got everything hooked up right, does the car idle at all?
