Default 3rd. Gen Prelude wanting to make it faster!!

I just bought a '89 Lude Si. for $180!! I was on Lude Perfromance and printed out some pages telling me how to put a B-series vtec head on the B20a5. Is it worth it?? I want some type of swap in it!! Can i put a new Prelude h22 in it?? I can get a h22a automatic for like $1000 from a friend..

I just want to make the car faster!! It is an Automatic, I also have a NOS kit for it 60 shot, i just want it quick, but dont want to convert it over to 5spd but can if needed!!!

Can someone help me?? Thanks

Bolt-on's : DC Sports header, Advanced timing cam gears, and exhaust. Not much else will produce power.

Turbo : Ludespeed makes a great turbo.

Swap : Unless you want to put as much money into the engine when you could just buy a Type R. Only easy/good swap is JDM B20A, errr, any prelude simular model engine.

Like crxplus says, internal head, block, and intake can be modded in other ways that no one else has really tired - just a thought!

BTW, buy that H22A and resell it for twice as much!

Good luck!
