Default how to maintain trailing arm spherical bearing kit?

What can i use to clean the rear bearing and keep it lubed? I dont daily drive the car, but i do use it on the street and the other night i ran into some nasty rain. The rear bearing is a little dirty. Can i use silicone spray or anything?

most normally take a teflon lube. and wd-40 will attract dirt.

This might help, not sure though. In the desert when we deploy, equpiment like our forklifts use graphite on the bar that the forks slide wider and closer on. In the states we just use axle grease, but since it is so dusty here the graphite works better and the dust does not stick to it. I am not sure about it waterproof capabilities though. Might work for those bearings. Just an idea.

too bad all spherical RTA bushings on the market don't have rubber boots like HardRace's version does.

WD40 is a solvent not a lubricant...

WD40 is actually a Water Displacement (40th formula) product developped for rockets in the 50s.
