98 integra b18b1 non vtech
Your going to get some very opinion based answers, i think you should think to yourself if YOU think it's worth it and act on that. Whos to say that your 160000k motor won't last longer than for instance my 140000 mod'd motor.
But basically any MAJOR upgrade (Turbo/lsvtec) that you can do to your motor would include freshening up the internals (valve job/pistons, etc.) So why not?

You should maybe begin with reboring your valves and upgrading the piston size first.
Some integras begin to burn oil at the valves due to use after they hit about 150k or so.
Just a heads up.
Also larger pistons will give you a little extra power

i think hes at 160k kilometers. thus, the mileage isnt too bad. id pull that motor and put in .25 oversized itr or ctr pistons and then get a vtec head. good luck!

He'd have to do a compression test first to see if it's still healthy, even though it only has 100k miles, still getting up there. I agree though, if the engine's still solid, just boost it.
