Default check out my old EF

It was an 89 civic lx, cut off front past the shocks and had a tubular frame welded. had a d15b2 in then it ran lean and blew, therefore swapped a b7 in and thing was amazing.

heres the chassis i was working with

heres after i threw a rod into a hot chicks driveway.

then came the b7

started throwing all the turbo sh*t back on. making sure all injector wires were secured on tightly this time.

this had more room than any car i've ever owned

and this is why i had michigan, rusty parts, tie rod wasnt the easiest getting off and i would of gotten a new one if it wasn't brand new basically just old.

all done... kinda

didnt like the looks of the intercooler piping so sprayed it blue

and my finished project

I don't understand what the purpose of your tubed frame is. Please enlighten me.

Tube frame + craftsmanship beyond bolt-n-go

Haters

Although I do have to agree that welding in a tubular frame for a D-series turbo was kind of over the top .

Any plans for a bigger motor in the future?

They are not shaved....just no mouldings. You can see the clip holes.

i didnt do any of the welding/cutting so i wasnt worried about how many hours someone else dumped into it, i was just glad i had something different. suprisingly it seems just as good as if it wasnt welded, it held up very good, didnt have a problem with wheel hop with the exception i had traction bars, other than that though it was pretty strong,
