Before anyone asks why I am looking for the particular intake again its because it has a feature that no other intake has, the hose coming from the valve cover to the intake always has to be replaced with a hose on aftermarket intakes but the DAC you can keep the stock hose with that metal piece in tact because unlike all other intkes the DAC has an actual hole that the metal tip can slide into instead of replacing the two hoses on the stock setup. I hope this makes sense. Thanks

If you're worried about keeping that piece OEM, why not just use the original intake tube and then just attach a K&N to the end?

DC used to make an adapter that allowed you to use the OEM tube and then a K&N filter on the end. The piece actually bolted down so that you wouldn't get the filter smacking around.

Did you try calling AEM to see if they had any DAC ITR tubes that were in a parts bin somewhere? You could easily source the other pieces (clamps, filter, etc).

 

Maybe I should call AEM this week and ask them. Thanks for that great idea

K&N makes a filter that is just like the oem, its what I have, it does fine. Still looks clean and stock with a proformance filter. To the mugen coment..... The Mugen intake isn't just paying for a name. IT WORKS! Proven! Not only does it work but its a baller mugen part.
