Default OBD2 Scan

So my cel went on last night and almost immediately after that my car started sputtering . I would be driving at about 3500 hundred rpms and they would keep dropping to about 2500. I ran a scan at advanced auto and these are the results...

TPS/Pedal Position
Sensor A Circuit Low
Input

I need help on fixing this. Any input would be helpful

The car is a 00 gsr with i/h/e.

Thanks

Search google for "hondahookup manuals", find the Helm manual for your car, a follow the trouble shooting tree. You will need a multimeter to verify potential (voltage) and continuity.

Sounds like your TPS is bad, like Dog said, get your hands on a DVOM to check voltage.

Assuming the tps is bad which i believe it is, is it possible to just change that without the entire throttle body like the manual states?

Also if i just bought a used throttle body with the tps sensor is it plug and play or will that need to be calibrated still?

Please let me know what you think my best bet would be. I'm not going to be able to do it myself keep in mind and I dont want to bring it to the dealership and pay like 800 for a whole new setup.
