just want to know if the ac fan is needed if i change the radi to a half radi... i have a puller and a pusher fan on the radi already

It'll come on to cool the radiator at idle since there isn't airflow going through the radiator, to cool it. If the a/c compressor is on it'll either have it's own fan to help draw out heat or use the radiator fan if you only have one.

Why do you want a half size radiator?

 

i am putting a small t25 turbo on this spring on a sohc zc but i also want to keep ac and was wondering if i could get rid of the full rad and use a log mani i could most likely keep a/c

 

Oh.. People usually get rid of the whole a/c system when they install turbos. Probably won't be able to use a/c with the intercooler and stuff I'm not too sure.

i have put a 8" slim fan on the condenser when i still had ac and it worked great.

 

did u have a half rad out of an eg also or was this on a stock ef radiator

you can have a half radiator...that is not the issue. the 2nd fan is for the a/c condenser, to cool it off. as long as the condenser is installed with it's fan, you can do whatever you want with the radiator.
