Yes its some sore of clear epoxy, also if you dont feel comfortable doing it glass shops do it and its not that expensive, it takes less than 1/2 hour to do. this works on rock chips if there is an actual crack I dont know if they can help that

yea it's like some epoxy thing. really takes less that 30 min,
park in shade
1 clean the area
2. apply glue thing
3. let sit 5 min, apply more glue, wait 5 min
4 remove and apply the sun strip
5 park in sun and leave it their as long as possible, min 10 min
6 remove sun strip, and with a razor blade strip off excess
DONE

Its an ultraviolet ray reactive resin.My wife owns an autoglass biz but started working for novus doing chip repairs.If you have comprehensive coverage its usually a freebie.
