Default I need some abvice from people with really low cars

So, I've had Tokico Blues and ground controls for a while, slammed, rides perfect, not bumpy, never bottoms out.

So i replace the blues with Illuminas and it rides pretty bad.. I don't understand, I also got a set of red adjustable AGX shocks as well, and they also ride horribly in comparison, they are bumpy, and the suspension bottoms out on things that the Blues wouldn't, no matter what the "adjastability ****" is set to it rides about the same, unless its set on all the way to hard, then its super bumpy....I can't understand this...

Can anyone give me any insight to why I can't get a set of "better" adjustable shocks that work as well as these blues i bought off some guy for $40?

hmm this is an interesting read. i want to know what experts have to say about this. i've heard from a lot of people that tokico blues are just factory replacements and they're not great blah blah blah. but if they're really comfortable and not bumpy, i wouldnt mind getting some blues.

also when you change the damper settings from the softest to the most stiffest, does it make a big difference on the ride?

What you are feeling is probably higher rebound damping than those HP shocks had.

I pretty sure there's no way the car "rode perfect" on that setup. My buddy had Neuspeed Race springs on HP shocks and it was soooo horrible. He switched to Koni Sports with the same springs and it was 100x better.

The difference goes from bumpy to super bumpy, pretty much.

Thats interesting.. and i think it makes sence too. The ride is pretty much perfect, but at the same time I don't think the ground controls are very aggressive either. I'm not into zomg handling as much as I am a smooth *** ride.

My car can feel pretty rough at times, and that's with stock GS-R springs and Koni Sport shocks.

Should of get yourself coilovers if you want to slam. Eventually the shocks will blow.
