Fuel mileage?
Not completely sure where to put this.
I searched quite a bit and didn't find much.
The one thread I found said the stock s2000 gets 20/26 miles to the gallon, and people reported getting up to 25-30.
I know there's a few people that have swapped these engines into rolla's, what kind of mileage are you getting?
Since I doubt I will get too many personal results, if you have any info or logical points to make throw them out there. (concerning a swapped cars mpg)
If you want to just post what mpg you get in an actual s2k post that.
Lastly if any of this has been covered already feel free to post that also.

Yeah, I have a question on this one too.
I posted a topic on it yesterday:

These are supposedly EPA estimates for the s2k's, but I think they're wrong. Are the ones posted for S2K's? Or are they for other vehicles (I'm thinking other since it's Acetone?).
Also, cmdr430 mentioned that there is a website that is what honda people say about their stuff, and not estimates from other organizations.

rubber gasket and lining with acetone=priceless
try e85 too, they do great cleaning out the tank(including de-gasket service)
i get about 25, most freeway. on long trip you can get 30 with higher psi tires and cruise control on

my over all average is about 22-23 mpg
2002 s2k bone stock. i will get about 20mpg with lots of stock and go city driving. 25mpg + for long freeway tripes . but life time average is 22-23mpg
i always fill to the top and always divide miles traveled with how much gas goes in the tank so i know fuel millage is accurate

u get 25 freeway? damn thats kinda low... i cruised freeway 6th gear when i first bought the car and got upwards of 30MPG.. i got 540 miles for about 1.5 tanks of gas (1way trip SD to SF)
Fuel economy, like any car, will vary greatly with driving style. The EPA estimates are just that: estimates. If you drive conservatively, you can beat the EPA numbers for the S2000 by 5 mpg in each cycle or more (or any car, really). If you drive the S2000 hard, you will get much less than the EPA numbers.

Yeah, I get that. I get great gas mileage right now because I drive slowly and pretend gas costs 4 dollars a gallon.
What mileage could I expect with the engine in a Corolla(driving conservatively)?
It seems like swaps never get as much power or mileage as they should, is it possible that's more of a tuning issue?

Assuming the Corolla is using the same gearing, ECU, sensors, and emissions as a stock S2000, I'd expect the Corolla to get a little better than the S because of less weight. That is, if it's driven in the same manner.

26-28 mpg for me.
My guess would be the Corolla would do a little better city, and about even or even slightly worse than the s2000 on the highway. I didn't look up c/d and frontal areas, but I'd think it favors the s2000 and that's a huge part of highway gas mileage.

That is pretty dam impressive if you are sure that is accurate. I get about 275-315 miles per tank in my AP1 and the tank usually does not take more then 11 gallons. The tank actually holds 13ish gallons. From what I understand the F22 usually does a bit better on the gas millage. I bet the 07+ are even better but am not sure.

ive been told this as well. i think its true too, since people run 02-03 ecu's in their 00-01's...
for street/city driving, i can get between 28-35mpg, depending on what rpm i shift at. on the highway, about the same, depending on how fast im going. on the way home from nashville i got 30mpg with the top up, going 65mph, with the a/c on
