Rotors on 91 honda accord ARGHHHHHH!
okay so after reading this awesome write up i venture into taking apart my brakes/rotors. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1281812 i get to where it says step 11. taking off the 4 bolts on the backside of the rotor the side where your cv joints go thru the rotor. my problem is i have these wierd *** star design nuts. and ontop of that i canot get to them even with a wobble socket and extension there is NO WAY to get the socket in there unless i take the cv joints out completly. anyone have any ideas or can u post how i can pop the cv joints out? i was looking at them and it looks like a frikken bitch of a job.
its a 91 honda accord LX completly stock. any feedback would rock thnks alot.

I always take the lower ball joint loose and the steering tie rod. Also pop the lower shock bolt out. I carefully beat the ball joints with a big hammer until they realese, (don't hit the threads) then just pull the spindle away from the axle/cv. Be carefull not to pull on the cv joints, you can tap the end of the axle w/ a hammer to get it started moving. Once the axle is out of the way you have easy acces to the four 12MM 12 point bolts. The boxed end of a 12 mm wrench will work.
That make any sense? DOn't give up, its really not as tough as you think.

Yea that helps alot bro. i just dont wanna damage the cv joint. so should i pop the boot off the cv joint or just take the lower ball joint steering tie rod and lower shock bolt out? im going to post a write up with my pal in a few with pics about this cause ive got SO MANY different people telling me im wrong and they just come off and that is str8 bullshit. this brake/rotor job sucks especially without a write up to checkout on it.
