no they are not the same, vtec and non-vtec uses different cam caps

 

nonvtec are smaller and use smaller bolts, i try using a cam cap bolt but it was too small for my b16 head. my .02 cents

the caps that came with your head are the only ones you can use. They are machined to the caps so you can't switch any caps from any head without line boring, or you are risking cam damage. I would suggest you look hard for your caps.
