Default Wreck 2000 ITR FBP need answer

okay im in a situation where on aug 13th my belove R got smash on the passenger corner panel and rip my bumper tab ...aug 14th an as$hole driving a ford truck fail to yield and went straight into a turning lane leaving the bed of the truck sticking out of the driving lane. he couldn't continue to move forward because there was incoming traffic on the other side which was the reason his *** was still out...it was so sudden i couldn't avoid it and my front got smash...meaning radiator support, hood, fender, lip, and bumper is gone...you can see how i tried to move a lil to the right but it was to late...okay here my question its 2 different accident meaning 2 different case..but both driver have same insurance company...and some how they total out my car... well not yet anyway.. he told me my car value is only 10,811 and the corner panel is 2300 to fix 1st accident and the front end was around 4100 to 4500 to fix 2nd accident..my car is well taking care of, lot of mile 135xxx but outside was mint condtion until the damn accident ....found out aug 22 that they want to total the car...i told them no wayyyyyy...ill post picture in an hour or so...some before and after

This is all dependent on the insurance company who will be cutting the check. If the total cost in damage exceeds a determined % of the over all value of the car (which is up to the insurer) they will indeed write it off as a total loss. Call the insurer to find out that percentage threshold.

yea i agree most insurance have like a 50 or 60 % of how much the car worth before they total out the car...the front was less then 4500 to fix....and i know my R is at least worth 12k easy...

It's obvious it's fixable but yeah from an insurance stand point it is totaled. I hope you can but it back!

both accident was there clients fault, and my allstate said that it wasn't possible for them to total it out... cause they took so long to come appraise the first accident we had to pay our adjuster 500 deductible to look at the corner panel which came up to 2300 and right now we are paying the same adjuster to come out and look at the front end for another 500 deductible...and we already got a lawyer we sueing the other insurance for pain and sufffering from the accident, value of my car,1000 deductible, and missing work because they wouldn't do nothing unless we had the police report...i mean the car is still drivable but the alignment went str8 to the left after the 2nd accident and the fender scrap the **** out of the tire...and when it come to steering the car you can make a full turn to the left and about 25% to the right before it stop.

Insurance comapnys can be talked to, if you fight it, and don't let up they'll go your way, especially with you sueing them. They're going to want to make you happy. Good luck, your car is making me think about black.

never give in to them. if you can show proof the car is worth more do it from multiple sources (camax, autotrader, etc) then get them to bump up the value. tha can save you from a total loss or it can help you recover more money in the end. they are trying to save money on their end just as you should be trying to get as much back as you can.

The damage looks to be (not easy) but fixable. Sucks that this had to happen, All I can say is that if you fight it and things start to not look your way fight harder. You will get what you deserve. I remember when I was a youngster and I had run in with insurance, till this I day I never back down. Get your money so you can move on.
