All the shop had for used bikes were a 99 CBR900 (I think-I didn't care because of the 900 which = instant death if I am riding it) and a 93 GSX-R750($3200) also too big. He sid it was an odd week and he should have a normal sized invintory later this week or next week, It is a 2 min walk from where I work so I'll just check in every day

I also had a guy offer me a 70s CB350, but he didn't say what year. I am not really interested because I don't know how well it would cruise at 80-90 with no fairing. He just saw me starring at a CB750 while I was working and started talking to me about bikes. He was pretty cool but darwin will probably get him for his opinions on helmets.

hahaha, what are his choices on helmets? Don't go every day or he'll know you're pressed and drive a hard deal w/ ya. I got a guy who flipped himself head over heals trying to sell me a gsxR1000. It was funny b/c every other sentence I said "I'm thinking a bit smaller". I don't feel bad not buying a bike from him b/c he wasn't helping me find a bike, he was just trying to sell me the most $$ ****. Btw, I got a free lunch outta the deal.

 

He said helmets make it hard to see and hear and that no one should ever wear one
