So yesterday i was doing practice launches for the track and when i got to about 5k in 4th gear, the car shut off. So i turned around and at around 2500 i could hear the rod bearing.. So went home and pulled it all apart, spun #2 cyl. Ok so i fixed that today and get everything back together and now it wont start, buddy said check the fuel pump relay well on his crx its diff than my 89hatch.. I can tell its not getting fuel and might have a destination where the relay is.. Is there any other stupid wires that could cause this, some of these forums say it might be due to a bad ground? Any information helps. Thanks alot

 

are you throwing any codes? can you hear the pump priming? the relay i THINK is up front under the dash on drive side. i could be fuel filter i had that problem once... just acouple ideas i guess

 

yea its throwing a code, im guessing its from my o2 tho cuz its clipped. Its converted to obd1 so its kind of a pain to check.. And now i cant hear the fuel pump, but i never heard it before in this car either.. I just dont get it it ran fine yesterday i drove it to where it sits today, change rod bearing and now no fuel?? Its so wierd, but i will look into it more tomorrow and there is two main relays on the block, i know one is turn signal and i dont know what the other one is? Thanks
