functions of the sport button in a 1990 honda accord lx.
in my 90 accord it has this little sports button on the side of the shifter,can anyone tell me what it really supposed to do?when i push it,it does nothing at all!!whats really going on?

It does in fact DO SOMETHING....it makes the little 'S' light on the speedo cluster light up, and when that happens the shift points are changed. The engine rpm should be 3-5 hundred higher before upshifting.
It's a great way to shorten the life of the clutch packs in the transmission.

thanks for the advise.now by any chance do you know how to properly install an a/c clutch in a 91 accord?do you know about the[ gap] its to be set at?
