Non-vtec B20 tuning/dyno results for road racing
Any of you guys have any dyno results for a tuned B20 stock internals, etc, legal for H2? I'm considering running this engine in my CRX for HC. Thnks.
I lost my dyno from its H2-legal days, but it came out to ~143/130 (Toda header, stock IM, junky intake, 2.38" exhaust). That was tuned, but not that fresh, and certainly not built to the limit of the rules. Torque curve was super flat though, and hp curve was super smooth all the way up. If built properly, I could see it being fairly competitive. One of the most noticeable differences I've seen has been the lower-end torque, where I can pull out of corners harder than the 1.8 guys.
