I didn't see *ANY* signs of cuts. I know HFs have lighter bumpers, but umm, waaa?
What do I need to mount it ? Also are all years compatible (88-91)? It is a 90 as per the corner lights and the Title, and the door mounted belts.

get an si bumper support and bumper.
theyre right.
if you crash in to anything there goes our front end.
at least a better bumper support will help you a little.

Looks like it could be the normal HF one. The one I just got doesn't have that bar going across; just the part to hold the bumper up.
IMO, HF's don't have a front "bumper", just a bumper cover. When the UPS guy brought it he figured it was the foam since it was so light.

i believe that is the correct HF bumper. the dx and si have a real big heavy metal support on the car. yours looks funny because the metal parts are still attached to the bumper cover, but i think it's ok.
if you want the heavier setup you'll see what you need right away at the junk yard

that is the corect bumper and support that the hf came with the smal tubular support bar i cut mine off totaly for intercooler if u hit naything is the car guna be safe no so dont hit anything lol
no your not missing any peices you just didnt take the bumper off the support. unscrew the bumper from the support. the hf's are like that. atleast my hf was like that too hf's have smaller front and rear impact bar's thats one reason why they are the lightest crx.

Thank you. Not seeing it (I see the bar in the bumper cover but that's about it). In the rear it has a Wings West urethane bumper cover (ugh, trash IMO). I have an OEM cover to put on it, though I'm not sure what mounts I am missing, and if it will fit with my 'aftermarket' exhaust... that'll be a fun weekend.

thats definatly hf support, if your worried about front end impact driving crx is not a good car for you, doesnt matter what support is on it the front is never gonna be the same again, some or one owner before you has kept him/herself and the car alive for 20 years give or take its all in how you respect the road and your car. i learned in driving class that there is supposed to be some 10 feet for every 10 mph you go, but not many follow that, so if you rear end someone with your honda thats a shame. the real worry should be your rear end, you really cant stop an idiot that wants to ride your *** and slam right in to you. so drive smart stay away from monster trucks and rock that rex for another 20 years

If 10 really is the same bar (looks like it, thanks for uploading a clean pic and making mine look dirty as sin), mine is in 'upside down' according to the parts picture.
I drive very conservatively/safely. I've avoided a few collisions that way.

As i mentioned before the HF DOES USE A BAR FOR A FRONT BUMPER its a good 1 inch tubular bar that goes across the front that is the hf i have had 6 Hfs and they all have had the little black bar for a bumper which also hold the bumper in place your not missing anything at all your car has all the front bumper peices that the HF came with u dont need the big bulky bumper a cpl guys are talking about all it is.. more weight and any how if its so unsafe maybe we need to build role cages outa something difernet other then Tubular piping
