I was looking into that hondata ecu i believe. I was on the internet and found different kinds. I have a vtec controller from apexi. What kind of hondata system would be suitable for the vtec controller and for my car to gain more horsepower.

The better question is to ask

What type of car and motor to you have.

More than likely Hondata will be more overkill than necessary, I did a chipped p28 for less than $150.

I agree with MuffinMan 100%

What year is it? Is it swapped or stcok motor? I take it it's boosted? Is it a beefed up daily or your full race dragster?

If it's just your daly, just go with S200, it has simple launch control (2-Step) and is a fine tune. If you're going for a more track tuned car go with the S300. It has tons of features that the S200 can't even touch AND it's fully tunable with a PC. S200 can't be tuned by PC.

Just remeber that with the S300--you get what you pay for. It's about 800 dollars roughly to get S300 purchased, installed and tuned

OR... go eCtune, get all the features of S300 and plenty more, save yourself some serious cash, then pat yourself on the back because you're supporting the little guy, and feel better about yourself knowing that you're not supporting a corrupted corporation out to smother the competition and monopolize the industry by bankrupting them with bogus lawsuits, and stealing their hard work.

Oh, and don't forget to let a professional actually TUNE your car. Don't be one of the guys who watches their narrowband O2 sensor jump around, set their VTEC to 5000rpm, and get all high and mighty saying they tuned their own pile of ****.

I'm glad people haven't forgotten about that.
