exactly what water pump do you need for swaping b16a1---hasport says that a 94 del sol vtec will work but the one we bought wouldnt fit so did they give us the wrong one or do you need to modify it in some way...

 

please help we have to have the car done by saterday because my prelude is goin in for its overhall and plus we need the car and my shop wont hold both

 

The Del Sol vtec one should work. Any B-series vtec pump should bolt up. I used a Si one. Just make sure that it's for a B16, B17, or a B18C. BTW, there's no h in VTEC.

Use a b16 one or GSR there both the same part...
Don't use the B18 "LS" cause the teeth are smaller=ls timing belt

hey what did you put your 16 in cause I got a few more ? if it was into si crx...

 

b16a any gen. will bolt up, no mods needed....most likly you go a d16z6 h20 pump

 

just count the teeth, and the size of the teeth, and compare.
