dpfi to mpfi help
alright heres the deal...i had a dx with d15b2 and dpfi..i bought a sohc vtec zc.....can i use the injector wires off of the zc harness to wire mpfi? can i use any civic resistor box?......my plan was to convert my dpfi to mpfi...wire vtec myself because i have done it before...buy an obd0 to obd1 conversion harness and run a p28 if that will work

if you are going to run it OBD1 with the P28 ECU and OBD0 to OBD1 ECU jumper, you won't need the injector resistor box as OBD1 injectors don't use the resistor box - just use the ZC injectors and the ZC injector wiring with your DX engine harness - you can also use the distributor connector from the ZC harness on your DX harness just match wire colors to the distributor side of the connector - the ZC distributor should have a yellow/green wire for the igniter where the DX harness will have a fat white wire on the outside edge right below (or above depending on how you are looking at it) the empty pin - you will need to use the connector for the cooling fan switch from the ZC and swap it onto your DX harness - the cooling fan switch on the ZC is on the thermostat housing - it is on the back of the block on the B2 - just add wires for the VTEC and the O2 sensor - you will need to add the wires from the ECU to the engine for the other 2 injectors and the cylinder sensor in the distributor
