Default 2009 Si question

I'm just wondering if anyone knows when the 2009 Honda Civic Si will be avaliable? I'm thinking about buying a 2008 Si but I might hold out for the 2009's.

A few months huh? I thought it would be sooner. Well, I'll probably go with the 2008 then. Thanks.

You'll also be able to strike up a better deal when purchasing an 08 because they will be trying to get rid of them to open up for the 09's. I'm not a big fan of the model refresh, but the bluetooth+sat-nav I think is worth getting. Good luck with your purchase.

Hey thanks for the info.

The thing is, I have no idea what the 2009 models even look like. Does anyone know of a link that would help me out? I've researched the hell out of the 2008's, but I'd like to see what the 2009's have to offer.

Really? Back east they are so hard to find that you need to actually order your Si, unless you get super lucky and it comes in on the truck, in which case, its sold in less than a week. They offer incentives on the Accords, Pilots, and Civics, but they usually won't budge on the Si, simply because they know its a high demand. Just be patient and wait for the '09. The '09 Civics are coming onto dealerships right now, so I would say a few weeks for the '09 Si, unless somebody has inside info.

No he's right. Even here in the east. The '09s are gonna be even more in demand than the '08s so you just might be able to strike a deal. I mean, I ordered my in October of '07 (received in November) and still got it for under MSRP.

So what it comes down to is, pay a little more and get the brand new 09 model, or pay a little less and get the 08 model... Decisions decisions, I've got some thinking to do.

Thanks for all the info and links!

it looks like you should be able to but does anyone know for sure if youll be able to put the 09 front bumper on an 08? i like the bumper alot. Also does anyone know when they are going to change up the whole chasis again? i wouldnt want to go buy a new car and then one year later they change the chasis all together.

I haven't seen any good enough pictures to determine for myself, but I have heard the headlights may be a little different, so if that's the case, you'd probably have to swap them too. I think the redesign will come around 2011.

honda schedules their redesigns every 5 years on all cars.... always has always will. there are always slight changes though out the 5 years.
