Default EH give me your opinions for AUTO-X

What is the best suspension / wheel combo to go with for auto-x and weekend driving, im not looking for comfort, im looking for hardcore performance in high speed turns and tracks.

Car is a 1993 EH Hatchback civic, reason im asking is im putting togather a little track warrior and I need a majority vote for the suspension and rim size, aswell as your favorite track tires.

no flames, seriuosly looking for best track suspension, like to keep the suspension budget near or under teins full setup, its like 1,600 isnt it? Best bang for buck?

And do strut tower bars really do anything beside look cool?

First of all. "Hardcore performance" and "Budget" do not go together.
IMO Koni yellows valved to SPSS3 spec. Get a 15x7 rim (whatever you like). Get a 205/50/15 tire (whatever you like).

Yes, strut tower bars do more than look cool. It prevents chassis flex.

I have a 92 hatch that I track.

15x7 rims
tires are up to the rules, street tires the RT615s from Falken are good.
PIC coilovers track extremely well. (link in sig)
sways, 24mmF, 23mmR is a decent setup, depending on the spring rates of course.

I know this, but the reason i say hardcore performance is because im not worried about a cadillac type feel like i hear half the people worried about, im looking for something that will allow the car to handle maximium speed around corners, and high driveability. So is the majority going to say Koni yellows and Ground control coilovers? I was thinking there was better out there.

the spring rates are going to dictate ride quality. (shocks do also, but only if they are not matched to the springs)

are you talking street performance, street/track duty, or all out track *****?

IMO there is better out there but when the word "budget" is thrown around it narrows the chioces. PIC is also a great alternative.
