36mm Axle and 32mm Hub problem?
I heard the JDM B18cR's have swap problems because the axles are slightly bigger. Im thinking of purchasing a complete swap from Password with the mounts and axles. I have a 95 coupe by the way. IF this does happen how is it solved or will it happen regaurdless. just some info would be nice. Please dont flame.
If you are getting a USDM ITR or CTR 5-lug, the stock d-series or b-series axles will work.
If you are getting a 98 spec JDM ITR, you will need to swap out the outer joint of the axles with one from a Prelude, Accord, or CRV.

Yes, the splines going into the tranny and halfshaft are the same as any b-series.

you know when people do K swaps, they put the B series 32mm ends on the K series (36mm) axles. I'm willing to bet if you get the 32mm axle end and put it on, it'll work.

so if I get the 96 jspec it will have the 32mm hubs? Only the 98+ have the 36mm? I don't know if I'm willing to sacrifice the 4.7 final drive. Or does it really make a difference from the 4.4 or 4.7. Of course I want the 4.7 but I'm going on easy swap. What kind of work would need to be done to make the 98+ jspec work?
Almost postive on the 98+ have the 4.7 final drive. The USDM ones and the 96+ have the 4.4 i believe.... Im probally wrong... I wish someone would answer that last question because im just about to go k-swap
