i have 2000 si with the stock b16a2 it has 150000 miles and is using oil it seems to use more when i hit the vtec alot. if i don't hit vtec for a while then run it into vtec it will puff a cloud of smoke but if i take it to vtec again within a short time of the first time i don't notice any smoke. is it common to have this issue with only 150000 miles on it?

 

is your motor leaking anywhere?

 

in vtec more oil is consumed im not sure why but someone explained it in a post i read once thats all i know its probably normal

 

it was leaking at the drain plug and the oil pan gasket but i have fixed both of those
