93 civic tranny quiz
what do i need to do to get a 93 ls tranny to fit in my 93 civic with a gsr. i got this tranny for free and the hydro one i have now is a peice of junk but i dont know what motor mount and how to make the hydro work with the cable clutch fork?help please!!!
ok so i found out that innovative makes a hydro to cable mount and linkage for the fork. but will the input shafts have the same # of splines from the cable to hydro cause the cable tranny didnt have a clutch with it.
yes you can also use the hasport kit, they have a hydro to cable as well. You need to change the axle seal on the side with the mid shaft if you want to use the midshaft you have. change it to a 94 integra seal. if its a 93 tranny its a ys1 so the pressure plate and disc is the same as the later hydro ones. you will only need a new throw out bearing because that is different, so get a mount kit with adapter, a 94 integra axle seal, and throw out bearing and thats it, since it is a ys1 you can take the ls internals and put it in the gsr case and that would solve almost all of your problems as well
