There is a sound thats coming from the front of my car and it only happens when i start to speed up. I guess the only way to describe is that it sounds like something is slapping against my tire of something but when i looked i didnt see anything! I know there is a strip in my tire where you can see the wire which i just saw and will be replacing but other than that i didnt see anything. please respond if you have a idea of what it is!

 

Does it sound like a can dragging on the floor? Like rubber rubbing?

 

No, it just sounds like something is slapping against something. But it starts when i get to about 15 MPH, then it just gets louder after that like the winds making it hit faster and faster....

How would I go about deciding if thats it or not. I was driving down the highway and i slowed down because theres a bump and when i sped up it started making that noise..

 

Usually, if that is the case (your brakes rubbing) you can drive with the window dwon and hear it.
