they are called draggin jeans, http://www.dragginjeans.com.au/
they have woven kevlar (the stuff bullet proof vests are made of) fabric sewn into the high impact spots hips, knees and butt.

You can get em in khaki style, and blue jean style pants.

They are about 100 bucks if i am not mistaken. Havent tried em myself, but anything is better than regular bluejeans on the concrete. Trust me i have the strawberries on my asscheeks to prove it.

Honestly, once i am ready to get back on the road I am gonna go full leathers. Seeing how the leather hjc jacket saved my shoulders and arms, sweating in the florida heat is much better than roadrash any day.

Good luck.

draggin jeans fit like levis 501 jeans. They are "slightly" better than regular jeans.

Kevlar in the knees and seat areas only protect against road rash, not impact.

Their major drawback is lack of protection in the hip areas. The only reson for wearing these is if you dont want to look like a superhero in the mall. Otherwise, spend another 25 bucks and get phoenix pants that can zip into a phoenix jacket. These have padded armor and are design ed for hot weather riding.

I would not wear the phoenix pants around unless I was riding. They are made of webbing, have padding and dont look like regular clothes. They also have no rear pockets...

If the objective is to have gear that can be worn for non riding purposes that looks normal, your not going to find any that is truely worthy of use. Consider a aerostich suite that can be worn over street clothes and a small stuff sack for it. That combined with some alpinstars/spidi shoe/boots would be an alternative.

Honestly, I have seen the phoenix jacket in action. If the pants are anything like it then they arent much better than padded blue jeans.

A guy that rides locally looped a wheelie at less than 40mph. (I know I know you arent going to be a stunter blah blah blah, stunters deserve it blah blah blah) When he landed, the arms and seams of the jacket ripped off and the mesh tore on the concrete. I will see if i can get some pics of it. I am wondering how the pants would fair in a crash, probably the same. If it were me, i would be wearing all leathers. being hot is the price you are willing to pay once you have had an accident that leaves you with roadrash.

That's just my 2 cents. spend a few extra bucks and buy the leather.

I've got a pair of Draggin' Cargoes (greenish khaki cargo pants with kevlar lined inside) and they're really comfortable. Kevlar inside is stiched to protect your butt and knee areas from road rash. I know they don't offer the same amount of protection as leathers, but I would have no qualms about wearing these around after getting off my bike.

i noticed a lot of people hating on the joe rocket phoenix gear, but i dont get it. as far as i can tell, most people that bash the stuff own much more expensive gear. i have yet to hear of someone complain and say they had wished they were wearing brand X jacket instead of a joe rocket jacket after a having a get off....

i wonder if my **** will fit into some phoenix pants. the jacket is a bit shorter than my torso. feels wierd sometimes. zipping it to pants (that fit) would help out tremendously.

I am not hating on joe rocket gear, i have a joe rocket leather jacket, and in another post i actually defended their gear when another member said they made junk. Cause mine worked pretty well in MY accident.

Just from MY personal experience I have seen the phoenix gear rip and people get roadrash. It was from a low speed accident where the guy (NOT MYSELF) flipped a wheelie. Also, another buddy had one and he layed his bike down at about 35mph due to someone turning in front of him. It ripped at the shoulder and he has rash all down his right arm.......... I WEAR a joe rocket leather jacket that matches my bike.

As far as the padded pants comment, I meant they would be as good as wearing a pair of blue jeans with added hip/butt/knee padding to resist impact. Meaning they probably wont do much good, just like regular blue jeans will not.

Once again that has been MY experience with it, and they are very common in florida.........

I cant seem to find pics from the one where the sleeve ripped. My buddy has since thrown it away. This is from a low speed wheelie flip...... As you can see, well he ended up with roadrash on his arms.
