Default FS/FT: high compression ls/vtec swap

Motor up and running $2500 for the motor or $3250 for the car and the motor.

The goods
-Hot tank and Honed b18a1 block to fit p73 pistons
-itr p73 pistons,
-eagle rods (unless there stock ls or itr rods can't remember),
-arp head studs,
-golden eagle kit,
-complete tap b16a2 pr3 head,
-Intake manifold,
-tap oil pan,
-b16a2 tranny,
-act clutch and pressure plate,
-act lighten flywheel,
-b16a2 shift linkage,
-type r passenger axle and half shaft, gsr driver axle,
-p30 a/c bracket(a/c for eg),
-all motor mounts for eg,
-professional custom ex/si engine harness,
-p72 p/s for eg,
-aftermarket headers,
-obd1 converted dizzy,
-obd1 converted alt,
-new belts 50 miles.

The bad
-Has 1 bad exhaust valve in cylinder 1
-TPS broke when the motor was pulled out. (stupid firewall)

Think thats about it for now.

Motor has about 10k miles on it until the valve went bad. Did a compression test and got 75/215/200/210 with three crank over only (suppose to do 5 but took the motor out already), did a leak down test and cylinder 1 with 1 exhaust is bad. The head is apart to get it fix but never had the time and need the money. Only thing you'll need for this swap is a chip p28 or a p72 and your set.

Or you can just sell the head and get another vtec head and swap it on and your set. Will take some pictures when I have the chance.

$2500 OBO Can include a ls head for the right price. will also consider trading for a d16z6 or d15b swap plus cash on your part.

afternoon bump. Just went to take some pictures of the motor. Pictures will be up soon.

Unless someone has some b16a2 exhaust valves laying around I'll take it off your hands or even trade you some of my other stuff for it.

Anyone have a Valve seal tool I can borrow also from milwaukee.

Pictures of the motor

DO YOU KNOW THE COMPRESSION I HAD ONE SIMILAR IN A CRX RAN HIGH TWELVE 11.7-1 COMPRESSION NEVER HAD A PROBLEM BUT I KNOW WHAT I WAS DOING OH WHEN YOU GO LS VTEC YOU SHOULD GET THE CRANK ZERO BALANCE THATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A VTEC AND NON VTEC CRANK WONT FLY APART WHEN YOU SHIFT AT 9000 ALSO GET A TYPE R BLOCK GIRDLE AND UPGRADE THE OIL AND WATER PUMP TO VTEC VERSIONS ADD A B16 HEAD ALL TYPE R INTERNALS IT HAS MORE FLOW THAN A SKUNK TWO MANIFOLD AND CHEAPER HAS WAY MORE TOP END the motor has to be built like a vtec model thats the problem everyone has when the wonder the vtec doesn't function properly i have a p28 for sale tuned for your exact setup and it was a lower vtec it kicks in at like 3500 and has a 9000 rev limit also setup to avoid that o great pressure sensor that turns off your vtec eleminated you will need it because your block doesn't have a knock sensor either

Funny thing is when i built it i had 120 in three cylinders and 90 in one the problem was i used the conversion kit when the pr3 head has the same size dowel pins the dead wasn't sealing how much for the head i bet theres nothing wrong with it SURE THE HEAD GASKET WAS ALIGNED COMPLETELY IT HAS TO PERFECT ALONG WITH THE TORQUE PATTER PEOPLE JUST RUSH THROUGH THESE SWAPS ITS BASICALLY TURNING AN LS INTO A TYPE R EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE HIGHER RPMS TOO AND MY LSVTEC RAN A SECOND FASTER THAN WHEN I HAD MY TYPE R AND TYPE Rs ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE MORE POWER...ITS ALL ABOUT TORQUE AND AN LSD TRANNY WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO IT

Sorry the motor is fixed up and running already. If you check the other forsale sign. Everything is done correctly and not done by me. Only assembly the head and the block together when the head was finish at kingmotorsports. Everything is torque down to spec with arp head studs. Motor runs strong and fast.
