ok i put a new ignition switch in my gs-r and that fixed my starting problem, but when i went to leave for work had no headlights, tailights or dimmer on my dash. the brake lights and turn signals work though. on my old switch i had a little black sensor the screwed into the key cylinder off of one of the plugs, which the new one didn't come with that. i figured that was just an anti-theft device. but need help asap!! thanks

 

i don't know what sensor your talking about. But you could always start by checking your fuses to see if any of them are blown.

 

well there is a fuse for each headlight, high and lo beam so i doubt there all blown, but i'm gonna go work on it now.
