Alot of people say I should paint my EG hatch Championship White. But, I dont see what the fuss is all about. It doesn't seem to pop off as much as frost white seems to. Atleast from what seen thus far. Maybe, you guys could help me.

No recent pics, but Hatch is stock 92 cx white ( frost white I suppose ) with flat black rota slips, drop n so on.

 

I mean it would be better to have 2 different pictures of the two colors you mentioned, to help determine which looks better.

Thank you for posting the examples a bit further down though, shoulda edited ur original post with 'em.

This should be in the appearance forum with the rest of the cosmetic garbage floating around H-T.

Judging by those 2 pictures, I'd have to say go with the championship white - may be because it's a Type R and the other's a 20 year old CRX, may not - I"m trying not to let that influence my decision - but the white on the CRX looks "duller" than the one on the 'teg - that one's looks more "brighter" - guess it's championship.

Reported btw, you'll get more posts in a forum where they pay attention non-stop to this type stuff - and this is a tech forum, so I won't have to suffer through it. Win-win situation.

PS: How the **** do u just stick an extra color in there? You were asking 2 shades of white, and in the ballot you put captiva blue?

Well your taste in colors sucks, captiva blue sucks - but never-the-less, captiva blue doesn't suck quite as hard as the other 2 shades of white you mentioned. Captiva blue has my vote.

That champ white DC looks less like champ white and more like frost white. Champ white a little creamier than that picture makes you think it is.

looks the same to me, white is white. nobodys gonna see your car thats frost white and be like "yo that shytz mad ugly with the frost white bro! would look tyte champ white instead YO!!"

 

Dude they look the same, just paint your car white. Say its Idontgivea[freak] white and you can be the new cool jdm kid on the block. Sorry for my sarcasm. But its fcking white, I promise NO ONE will tell the difference, not even you.

But if you want a real answer... let me beat around the bush a bit more.

The flare total throws off the color on the CRX. The photo quality of the DC2 is way different and those colors are going to look way different in comparison.

Also, take my car for instance, my friends tell me daily my car ISNT teal... so why is it my model and the civic hatch are the TEAL hatchs. And if my car isnt teal then why is it bg33... and why is it when I show a friend a picture of another bg33p they say "dude thats not the same color as your car." Point being, those are pictures, the time of day, place, moister in the air, camera flash, camera quality, car quality, all that is going to change the tone of the color in the pics. Basically, you cant decide between whites with pictures like that, being an artists I know. Your better off finding the color codes, printing up color swatches and comparing them under a floresent(sp) light. Thats really the only way your gonna compare those 2 cause Im not going to pretend to see the different like everyone else.


But if you want a REAL answer, paint it championship cause that DC rocks the paint better.

i've seen frost white i believe it was on shitsweak's eg at ia and it seems more pure white than like tafetta or championship but honestly unless you put em side by side and stare for a while

 

Premium White Pearl NH-624P was a nice white that came on the preludes, I know the 99 did and im not sure what other years
