Default heater core

Hey there honda-tech, my heater just recently stopped working out me out of no where today on my 88 honda civic dx. And its starting to get rainy and getting to winter and such, so i was wondering that all that needs to be replaced is the heater core? is there anything else that needs to be? Any information or install info on this would be great, my heater core never went out before so ya. Thanks guys.

Unless you have anti-freeze in the floorboard and steam
coming out in the cockpit,Then the heater core is probably
not the problem..

The most common problem is covered here:
