EE Wagon Trailing Arm ???
i just had my rear passenger-side LCA rip down and out of my trailing arm. (i'll post pictures soon)
i also just found out that a trailing arm off of a hatch will not fit.
does anyone know if a trailing arm off of a sedan or crx will fit?
(wagon parts are hard to come by since so many parts differ)

PoWeRBaN_PaNdA: thanks.
i just read in hondacivicwagon.com that the wagon trailing arm is longer than all others.
can anyone else back that up?
guysensei: i'll post pictures soon when i have my ipod.
i'm waiting on see if i can pick up a parts wagon here locally.
i'll let you know soon if i want the trailing arm from the person you know.

Just cut a square 1/4" thick steel plate and drill the proper size bolt hole and weld it back in place. overlap quite a bit and it should be stronger than stock. I would just fix it since it can be welded on the car
^ i might try that. but would you put the plate on the outside at the front end? the back half of the bolt broke off too, so getting it out might be a problem (requiring drilling).
Ya it's all wagon specific in the back (learned this the hard way with rear wheel cylinders). That's some bad luck. I've never seen trailing arms fail like that before.
PS: My wagon is a carbon copy other then the rims.

if the nut is welded on the back cut it off and weld plates on both sides then use a longer bolt with a lock nut. I will be much stronger than stock if done properly any good shop should be able to do it if you dont have the facilitiies
^ thanks everyone.
i think i'm going to install another arm rather than weld it up.

that was only the start of it. it was in front of a stop sign and i couldn't roll it out of the way. then my scooter died. then my road bike.

that was part of the problem. no yards had parts. but i just found one, so i'll fix it up monday.
i thought that the LCA and other arms are the same. yes/no?
