I'm currently daily driving a automatic 95 LS with rougly 176k miles. Lately my car has been having troubles starting up after been driven.

Everytime I go somewhere then return to the car it will have a hard time starting. After some long cranks the car will finally start but will barely be idling. So after a couple of seconds of the car running it will idle perfectly fine. Another sympton is after some long cranks and getting the car started the idle will shoot up to 2k rpm then drop down to normal after a couple of seconds.

Anyone ever had this problem before? Forgot to mention car has no CEL. I need some help and need to get it fixed... don't want to get strained one day.

it happens if you turn your car on shortly its been turned off right?

main relay....very common issue on older honda/acuras

Yes shortly after. So for example go pump gas or I go into a store.

 

So is EG main relay and DC main relay interchangeable?

 

Tried swapping main relays today. Still did the samething.
