Default what is everyone using to block their bumpers?

i have plenty of block sanders but i'm not comfortable using them on my front bumper. what's an alternative even home made maybe. i'm just hitting with 400 but trying to get in the certain spots on an EF bumper is annoying with a solid block and sometimes even with my half rubber pad deal. thanks in advance!

What are you sanding on your front bumper? Is it already painted or are you sanding on bodywork or what?

I do the same but if he's doing bodywork I'd use a tightly orbiting pneumatic sander for the broad places on the bumper. It just depends on the work you're doing.

Any thoughts on just using an assortment of Durablocks and wet/dry sandpaper?

(Will be prepping a bumper or two myself after some mild plastic filler work).
