k20. not sure what i want to do.
Ive had my k20 block for a while and just recently got the head for it. At first was thinking of getting a turbo for it. Now im thinking about just doing high compression boring the block, getting forged pistons, new connecting rods ect. and camshafts ect. for the head. and throwing it in a 5th gen civic.
Did some research, and have some of my buddys helping me out as well. just not sure which would be better, so asking for some input, suggestions, comments, opinions whatever.
thanks in advance.

Well you posted a question asking if you should go N/A or turbo in the N/A section so of course your going to get people to tell you to go N/A. Honestly it all depends on what you want and have to work with. Daily driven? How much do you want to invest? Power goal?
Your going to get the best bang for the buck with a turbo kit, but it's always nice to the reaction of instant power right at your toes without waiting for a turbo to spool.

Have another car, so it wont be an everyday driver. not worried about the cost at all. my power goal i was looking to get around 300hp. thats with the trubo of course but like you said i like the advantage of having that instant reaction instead of waiting for the turbo.

Ive seen better, more reliable, more power come from K series motors that were all motor. A good setup would be to strengthen the bottom end, and build that head with everything possible. Go race p&p, nice high duration cams (Stage 2+) and finish it all off with Hondata K-Pro and go get yourself tuned for serious power. You will be more than pleased with the results...
